Back from London: Girls & Puppies!

Sorry we've been M.I.A. for a bit - we were in London on a bizness trip. We brought back a bunch of goodies and will be stocking the Love Brigade + Friends store this weekend for you to spend all your hard earned money. Things should be heating up around here in the next few weeks as we get our Summer Groove in check. In the meantime, we wanted to share these snaps of Alyssa and Jeanette with their baby pups. MTV Brasil meets Love Brigade

MTV Brasil came by our retail space and studio in January and interviewed Alyssa Key, Tinypants, and Jamie Rockaway as their first featured designer for their new fashion/music/art show. The show, called IT MTV, walks the streets of NY to get the scoop on Fashion, with an F! It has a comical tone and approaches fashion with humor (just the way we like it!). We were so small compared to the team that filmed and interviewed us. We would say they were two times as tall, literally! You'll see what it looks like when Love Brigade talks to giants. Almost a year later we FINALLY get our hands on this video. Early in July last year, Alyssa Key (CEO and Co-founder of Love Brigade) gave a presentation at the MOCA in Jacksonville, FL. Hell on Heels!

We had the wonderful opportunity of styling Von Iva for their performance at Highline Ballroom and Public Assembly last Saturday. The trio was born to rock the Love Brigade look. At the stylists' helm was Alyssa Key (Our all powerful CEO) and Jeannette Converse (ninja intern). In the end, Von Iva was decadently dressed in metallic pieces from our Spring 08 Collection (SesenIV), a one-piece from our Spring 07 Collection (Namehato), a skirt from our Fall 09 Collection (Love, Kurt), and a one-piece from our new Fall 09 Collection (Going Home).

MTV Real World: Brooklyn Episode 5

It finally aired! At our Fashion Week presentation, the cast of Real World: Brooklyn attended and witnessed the unveiling of our Spring 09 Collection. What you don't see on camera is Alyssa, Jamie, and Tinypants meeting the cast members and talking about the possibility of grabbing a few of them as interns.

"I'm the Izza Kizza!"

Love Brigade was recently asked to style rapper, Izza Kiza, Timbaland's new protege'. We sent Alyssa Key and Jeanette Converse(our ninja!) to bring a new and fresh Lower East Side-esque style to the gorgeous girls of his new music video, "I'm the Izza Kiza". These are not your average video girls. They are strong, ambitious women with fire in their eyes and sexy skirts around their waists. Pair that with edgy T-shirts and punky accessories. These women don't chase Izza Kiza in the clubs, they sign him to their own record labels. Much like the Love Brigade woman herself.



The video will feature some of our most amazing pieces from Sessen IV, Love, Kurt, and Ex Oh. There was also some fabulous pieces used from Manslaughter for Mishka and Worship Worthy.

Be sure to keep an eye out for the debut of "I'm the Izza Kiza" featuring styling from Love Brigade most likely due out after the holidays.
